Privacy Policy

Information you give us

The contact form is the only place this site collects personal information. It asks for your name, your email address and your message, all of which are required, and optionally your organisation and the type of project you have in mind. Nothing else is requested, and there is no account to create.

We use it to read and reply to your enquiry, and for nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, share it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list.

How your enquiry reaches us

This website does not keep a separate database of enquiries. When you submit the form, its contents are passed to Postmark, an email delivery service, which delivers them to our studio inbox at info@kreaytion.com.

Postmark processes the message in order to deliver it, and keeps a copy in its own activity log for a limited period as part of that service. From our side, your enquiry lives in our email inbox, where we keep it for as long as we need it to respond to you and to keep a record of the conversation.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used so we can improve it. It runs on the live site for visitors everywhere, with one difference depending on where you are.

If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google Analytics is configured not to store or read any cookie or identifier on your device. We can still see that a page was viewed, but nothing is kept on your browser and you are not recognised on a later visit. We do this because storing something on your device would require asking your permission first, and we would rather not ask than store it. From anywhere else, Google Analytics may set its own cookies and identifiers to recognise repeat visits and measure which pages are read.

To decide which of those applies, our server checks the country your request arrives from and answers a single question about whether a cookie is permitted. We do not store that country, record it against you, or send it to Google.

We also record one event when someone successfully sends an enquiry, so we know the form works and which parts of the site lead to conversations. That event carries no personal information: your name, email, organisation and message are never sent to Google.

We run no advertising, remarketing or personalised-advertising features. Google Analytics is the only measurement tool on this site: there is no separate advertising tag, tag manager or third-party tracking pixel, and we do not upload customer lists or any information you send us to an advertising platform.

Storage the site needs to work

One small item is kept in your browser, and it does not identify you. Session storage records that you have already seen the opening animation, so it does not replay as you move around, and your browser discards it when you close the tab.

Services we rely on

A small number of services are involved in running this website:

• Our hosting provider hosts the site. Like any web host, its servers receive the technical details that come with every request, such as your IP address and browser type, and may record them in standard server logs so the site can be served and kept secure.
• Postmark delivers contact form enquiries to our inbox, as described above.
• Vimeohosts the project films. Its player is loaded on project pages with Vimeo’s Do Not Track setting enabled, which means it does not set tracking cookies or build a viewing profile. No video data is downloaded until you press play.
• Google Analytics measures site usage, without cookies for visitors in the regions named above.

These service providers may operate infrastructure outside the UAE, and process information in accordance with their own privacy and data-protection practices.

Your information, and how to reach us

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Because the only thing we hold is the enquiry you sent us and our reply to it, that is usually a matter of deleting an email thread, and we will confirm when it is done.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this site handles information — changing which services process it, or where analytics runs, would be the obvious examples — we will update this page and the date at the top of it before that change goes live.
